We engineer everything between the meter and the human.
Most electrical problems aren't solved with more equipment. They're solved with better analysis. Energable is the engineering partner that diagnoses with data before anyone reaches for a quote.
Most electrical firms install what they sell. We engineer what you need.
Whatever you're adding — an EV charger, a heat pump, backup power, circadian lighting — it all draws power, and all of that power runs through one place: your electrical infrastructure, the panel and distribution that everything connects to. Most firms quote the equipment and hope the infrastructure keeps up. We start by understanding the whole system.
Energable takes a systems approach. We assess what you actually want to achieve, then analyze what your infrastructure can carry — using professional engineering analysis, measured load data, utility interval records, and thermal imaging. From there we recommend only what the evidence supports, backed by professional engineering drawings and specifications. Sometimes that means upgrading the panel. Often, it means the capacity is already there and you never needed to.
Ask most contractors if you need a bigger panel and the answer is usually yes — because that's what they install. Telling a client the capacity is already there, when the data shows it, is the most valuable thing we do. It's only possible because our analysis is independent of the sale.
Our engineering zone starts where the utility's ends
Utilities manage feeders, transformers, and the grid up to your meter. Everything past that point — the panel, the circuits, the systems, and the people who depend on them — is where Energable works.
This is Energable
Engineering and trade, under one name
Energable is a family-led, Toronto-based practice. The two disciplines that usually sit on opposite sides of a job — the engineer who designs and the master electrician who builds — work as one team here, supported by skilled technicians and trade specialists on every project.

Nem Zivkovic
Professional engineering background and Certified Energy Manager, with expertise in energy systems design and installations. Leads load analysis, engineered drawings, and project design.

Nash Zivkovic
Licensed master electrician leading field execution, in partnership with Morava Electric. Turns engineered designs into clean, code-compliant installations.

Dragana Zivkovic
Electrical engineer with extensive utility experience. Reviews every project to ensure the work is code-compliant, safe, and optimized.
Backed by a team of skilled technicians, electricians, and trade specialists — scaled to the project, accountable to one standard.
Five principles on every project
Diagnose before you prescribe
Assessment is independent of correction. We measure what's happening before recommending what to change.
Evidence over assumption
Engineered load calculations, utility interval data, and thermal imaging — not "the panel looks full."
Sequence for ten years
Electrification is a sequence, not a project. Getting the order wrong makes you pay twice.
The building serves the human
Lighting quality, thermal comfort, air, and resilience are engineering outcomes, not afterthoughts.
Honesty is the product
If the existing system is fine, we say so in writing. Trust is the only thing that compounds.
Backed by professional liability
$5M general liability and $2M professional liability stand behind every engineered recommendation.
Navigating Energy Management — the systems framework within Energable
Same physics. Better operating system.
A high-performance building and the people inside it run on the same six environmental inputs — light, air, acoustics, water, thermal, and movement. NEM is our framework for treating those inputs as engineering variables: measuring what an environment actually delivers against what it was designed to deliver.
It's the same discipline Energable brings to every project — audit before you adjust, measure before you recommend. Where Energable engineers the building's systems, NEM is the thinking for how those systems serve the human inside.
"Calibrate the signal. Restore the stream."
Explore NEM →SIGNAL — the six inputs
Light
Timing, intensity, and spectrum — designed around daylight, not just brightness.
Air
CO₂, humidity, and ventilation — the air that governs focus and clarity.
Acoustics
The acoustic environment — background noise as a measurable load.
Water
Water quality — minerals, treatment, and delivery, not just volume.
Thermal
Operative temperature — what the body feels, not what the thermostat reads.
Movement
Mechanical load as structural maintenance, not fitness.
Start with an honest assessment
Before you spend on equipment, find out what your system actually needs. That's where every Energable relationship begins.
