Before You Upgrade
My panel looks full. Can it still take an EV charger or a heat pump?
Often, yes. A panel can run out of breaker space long before the service runs out of capacity. We measure your actual demand from your utility's 15-minute interval data, run the code load calculation, and tell you what fits as is, what fits with load management, and what truly needs an upgrade.
Is 100 A service enough for an EV charger?
In many Toronto homes it is. Most homes use far less than their service rating. Where the margin is tight, an EV energy management system can share capacity between the charger and the house so the service does not need upgrading. The Baseline Assessment shows which applies to your home.
What rebates are available?
Programs change often. Ontario's Home Renovation Savings Program, Save on Energy and Toronto Hydro offers can apply to heat pumps, lighting and building upgrades. We check which ones fit your project and list them in your report.
